Lori was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in 2005.  She kept her spirits up even when it was difficult to do so.  Lori valiantly fought the cancer for 7 years, and throughout her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, she never stopped fighting to return to the students she loved so dearly.  She consistently told her students, “You can do and be anything that you want.” Unfortunately, Lori lost her battle with cancer March 26, 2012.
